Pleasurable Activism in Paradise. Welcoming Writers, Artists, Geeks, Eco-Builders and other Creatives
This page is preserved as an archive of pre-volcano Hedonisia Hawaii.
We are planning and preparing to return to our land and hope you can help us. We are seeking support to to help rebuild Hedonisia Hawaii after its destruction in the Kilauea volcanic eruption. Anyone can make a contribution, no matter how small. If you can't donate simply post a little about our story on Social Media.
The Aloha Bus is a renovated school bus that is currently set up as a quirky lodging for up to two single adults.
Inside there are 2 single beds, two small tables, storage shelves and some of the original bus seating!
We used to call this lodging space the 'Aloha Love Bus' because it has sensual artworks painted on the interior. The images are sexy and romantic but not graphic. As a result we do not recommend it as a lodging for children under our Children in the Community Guidelines.
It is usually used as a 2-person dorm space for adults of the same gender. So if a female reserves it, it becomes a female dorm and vice versa if a male reserves it!
The bus is located in a grove of native Hawai'ian Ohi'a trees and Strawberry Guava.
Post-volcano options to enjoy a volunteer vacation for a discounted stay in Hawaii
Hedonisia Guava Land. We are offering camping accommodations at our nearby property. The land is a beautiful guava forest where we are also building a sustainable eco-friendly tiny home and a parcours-style outdoor Guava Gym. This property is a short drive to Kehena Beach and the Isaac Hale warm ponds.
Kamaili Forest Farm. Long-time friends started a farming community nearby. They are offering affordable volunteer and guest stays on their land. This property has a beautiful rambling jungle house and a Hexagon and Rainbow huts.
